G’day again ! Thanks mate ! I showed this clip to my son, wìth the description… You’re spot-on with the Prices. $150 for 2nd hand, $350 for new… I ordered the Huawei Phone today, & it should arrive in about 4-5 days. So, we’ll see. Speaking of which, have you seen @davesact ‘s latest ? 13 days after fitting, & he’s getting 35 Km More, per $50 Fill, TWICE WEEKLY. 5.67 Km/L. to 6.60. And he’s going to fit another 20 Watt PV, too. Which is lovely corroberation. Ciao !

I understand you feeling not right about taking a collections based gift. As for it’s OZ compatibility they make EU versions at those specs or you can buy a power converter for any US made device for $13 including shipping. Just saying. As to the going price for a netbook of that caliber / quality you’re looking at about $200 to $500 depending on how fancy you want to get. Don’t be afraid of the aftermarket on these but just check your sources.

If you need anything else you know how to find me!

3)… Um, I don’t feel quite right about me soliciting, to have a Collection taken up, to get me free stuff ; & most of the Gear made for the US market expects to be fed 110 Volts AC at 60 Hertz, and Oz runs at 240 V.,& 50 Hz… Which tends to cook things not made for the Oz Grid…. Do you have any idea what these ASUS NetPads sell for lately ? I’m guessing the $60 you mentioned was for the Camera… Thanks again for explaining it to me. Much appreciated !

Oh and for the camcorder I have in mind (which is the one I currently use) check out the video description. It’s called the Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5. You’ll find it’s even more handy yet shaped similarly as a cell phone. Let me know if you need anything else!

With the netbook you can buy an actual camcorder to sync to it. There is a wide plethora of camcorder choices that would not only perform better but be of better quality, be more precise and have the ability to be even more mobile. Think of the netbook as the hub. As I stated in the video…If you decide on the netbook I’d be willing to run a donation hat around the community to provide the camcorder that would completely round out and fulfill all Youtubing desires. Either way…Good luck!

Yeah, the main difference is the operating system. This has a fully fledged OS on a compact laptop instead of a mobile OS on a mobile device. Android is an excellent OS if we’re talking mobile devices but not really what you would want in a laptop, which is what the Eee PC is truly going for. The 160GB hard drive is definitely larger and can store much more data but would not be the cause for an increase in performance. Continued…

2)… Um, I’m thinking the 160 Gig Hard Drive is what makes it better than the thing we tried. It had 4 Gig… As for the Camera, well, a heap of stuff I like doing, eg HeadCam at Eyebrows, & Filming in the Slot underneath SunFoils… ; a Camera-Shaped Camera cannot do. And I need a new Phone anyway, so I may as well get a 3.2 MP Phonecam, with Qwerty buttons… And if I can later get a functional NetPad, then maybe I’ll save up for one ?
