I perfectly agree with that – I do not like these Acers though, especially because they’re provided to us to do Photoshop and Flash work. If I owned one of their “decent” higher end laptops, i’d be pretty happy with it.
I’d still go Dell or HP any day over one though.
There is only one thing that really matters about a PC- and that is user contentness. If a user is happy, it really doesn’t matter what brand a computer is. Build quality and brand reputation are all perspectives, experiences, opinions, and connotations.
I have never had a problem with their full-sized laptops. They are tough, and i choose Acer then Dell from Hell any day. But i have MacintoshBook
I dunno, Compaq and some low end Toshiba laptops have given them a run for their money…. I think Acer still takes the cake.
Oh, that’s cool. I’m planning to finish Year 10 and then move on to a Cert III I.T course next year myself. Should be awesome.

My school owned by the DET bought Lenovo IdeaPad S10′s… They loaded them with junk, put so many restrictions on them (can’t even go on YT at home!) the YR9 student’s got them, and get to keep them. But i left in YR 8, 2010.
I dunno, yeah, probably, but here in Australia, they’re everywhere and nobody wants them at all.
They are awful. Our school bought them for the art block (where this was) which means we’re basically supposed to use these pieces of shit for Photoshop and Flash Pro. I just bring my HP laptop instead, which is the one next to it in the vid.
